On Friday, June 13, 2025, Busesa Community Development Organization (BCDO) had the honor of hosting a delegation from the Uganda Rural Development and Training Programme (URDT) and African Rural University (ARU). The visit marked a significant milestone in knowledge sharing and potential collaboration between these esteemed organizations.

The delegation’s visit focused on Buseesa Demonstration Farm, where BCDO has implemented various innovative projects. These include: Piggery, Poultry, Dairy farming, Biogas, Goat rearing, Fish farming, Rabbitry, Banana plantation, coffee, Bee keeping, Hass avocado, indeginous trees, vegetables, Nursery beds, pasture gardens and legumes

BCDO Administrator, Mr. Tugonzaruhanga Joseph, warmly welcomed the delegation and provided an in-depth tour of the farm’s initiatives. This exchange allowed both parties to share insights and best practices in rural development and agricultural innovation.
