Busesa medical Centre iii has conducted an immunization process where 108 children from different neighboring communities have been immunized against different immunisable diseases.

This took place on Wednesday 31/01/2024 at Busesa medical Centre iii headquarters in Busesa trading Centre Matale sub-County, Kibaale district.

The children were immunized against different immunisable diseases which include: Polio, BCG, yellow fever and many others.

Josephine a health worker at Busesa Medical Centre iii and BCDO in particular who was in charge of the immunization services applauded the mothers for always taking a positive responsibility to take their children for immunization highlighting that it is one way of rising a health child and asked them to spread the message to some of the parents in the community who have-not yet grasped it positively such that the health standards in the community can be uplifted and raised to the higher and required levels as per the aims and goals of BCDO.

She also advised them to continue with an incredible work they are doing in order to ensure that their children grow with good health, she said that they should be vigilant and tirelessly make sure that they the children have gone through all the dozes as advised by the health workers confirming that it’s their responsibility as parents and also a right to the babies which should not be neglected at any stage.

This raises the number of children immunized by Busesa medical Centre iii and BCDO for the month of January to 448 considering figures from different outreaches in the district conducted and organized by Busesa Community Development Organization (BCDO) mobilizing and sensitizing the community members towards the involvement in health services which has increased their turn up.

Busesa Medical Centre iii in partnership with BCDO has championed the struggle to enhance the health standards among the community in order to have a health community with a sustainable economy at house hold level.
