A team from Buseesa Demonstration Farm paid a visit to the demonstration farm for the Minister of State for Works and Transport Hon. Fred Byamukama.
The visit was aimed at getting the team exposed to the new technologies at the 4 acre model farm. The team was led by the Buseesa Demonstration Farm Director Dr. Lubega Richard and was welcomed by the Hon. Fred Byamukama.
At the farm, the Minister has piggery, poultry, cattle, banana, and pineapple, among others. He also has machinery for processing poultry and piggery feeds and this has helped the farm to cut down costs of feeds.
The Director Buseesa Demonstration farm applauded the Minister for setting up a demonstration farm that has sparked agriculture within Bunyoro region. He added that he is going to use the knowledge and skills from the visit to improve his farm.
