The Director of Buseesa Demonstration Farm Dr. Lubega Richard has represented all farmers in Kibaale District in the handover ceremony for the incoming and outgoing RDC for Kibaale District.
The ceremony occurred today, 16th September, 2024, at Kibaale District headquarters in Kibaale Town Council.
The ceremony was presided over by the Kibaale District Chief Administrative officer (CAO) who was represented by Mr. Nsamba Peter, the Principal Assistant Secretary.
The outgoing RDC Mr. Angaliya Kasigwa applauded the Kibaale District leadership and the people of Kibaale district for a cordial relationship he has had with them. He said that during his tenure, there was teamwork between the technical and political teams which has sparked development in Kibaale District.
“I managed to lead the historical team to State House to meet the President and I must say this is one of the key achievements I have made during my tenure of office in Kibaale.”
The CAO applauded the outgoing RDC for being a good team player and tasked him to carry on with the same team spirit in the new duty station.
Meanwhile, the incoming RDC Mr. Byaruhanga Stephen Nfashingabo pledged to begin from where the former RDC stopped. He also promised to work closely with the political and technical teams for the Kibaale district to cause social economic transformation.
Dr. Lubega Richard who represented Kibaale District Farms thanked the outgoing RDC for working closely with farmers in the district. He also applauded him for ensuring that there is peace and stability within the district which has enabled farmers to transact business day and night.
In the same event, the outgoing Deputy RDC Ms. Nanshemeza Caroline K. handed over the office to the incoming Deputy RDC. The instruments of power were received by the incoming RDC on behalf of the Deputy RDC who was unable to attend the function.
