Busesa Community Development Organization (BCDO) has been actively involved in implementing integrated community development interventions in Kibaale District since 2014.

Busesa Community Development Organization has over the year’s generated outstanding positive impact in the lives of many poor people. From originally implementing small single isolated projects benefiting a few households BCDO”s programs have evolved into multi-disciplinary and multi-sect oral programs and projects transforming the lives of a wide range of communities. BCDO”s work is mainly focused in the Agriculture, Health, SACCO, Fisheries Water and Sanitation sectors with the Environment and HIV/AIDS being key cross-cutting issues mainstreamed in all programs.

BCDO promotes a participatory development approach through all its work. The Integrated approach which services the communities it works with is built on participatory development. The adoption of the integrated community development approach by Busesa Community Development Organization was informed by field experience of best practice over the years.
