The new Kibaale district Resident District Commissioner Mr. Byaruhanga Stephen Nfashingabo has visited Buseesa Demonstation Farm (BDF) to acquaint himself with the different developmental projects established on the farm.
The RDC visit the farm on 11th October 2024 and was welcomed by BDF staff members during his visit, the RDC toured different projects and programs established at the farm including but not limited to; Poultry, piggery, goat, cattle, rabbit, fish, banana platation, hass ovacado farming among others.
The RDC visited the Demonstration farm in order to fulfill his mandate which is to coordinate government programs and policies at the grassroots level, ensuring effective implementation and service delivery. The RDC also act as the eyes and ears of the central government, monitoring and reporting on developments within his/her districts.
At the end of his visit, BDF gifted him with a he goat. He applauded BDF for contributing to social economic transformation of the people of Kibaale District, Bunyoro and Uganda in general.
