The Kibaale District Resident District Commissioner Mr. Angalia Kasigwa Godwin has applauded Busesa Community Development Organization (BCDO) for demonstrating the 4 Acre Model for social economic transformation. He said that the 4-acre model major aim is to identify ways of creating wealth and jobs to foster growth in household income.
Angalia said this on 24th July 2024 during his visit to BCDO Demonstration Farm where he commended the BCDO Executive Director Dr. Lubega Richard for spearheading development within the district and Bunyoro in general.
He toured different projects initiated by BCDO aiming at improving the general welfare of the people of Buseesa Tradining Centre, Kibaale district and Uganda in general.
The BCDO Executive Director Dr. Lubega Richard told the RDC that BCDO started the demonstration farm so that the community members can come and learn from the demonstration farm. The farm provides free technical support to farmers who initiate their own projects after visiting BCDO.
We offer free technical support to farmers who are ready to start income-generating projects. You can start your project using locally available materials and later transform your project into a modern income-generating project. Farmers are free to come and learner from our demonstration site for Piggery, poultry, cattle, rabbit, fisheries, and banana plantation, coffee, among others.
