The Deputy Chief Administrative officer Kibaale Betty Nankindu has encouraged farmers in the district express interests of the enterprises of their choices so as to benefit from Government Agriculture programs.
She was speaking today in response to Dr. Richard Lubega the Executive Director Buseesa Community Development Organization which is embarking on livestock production, Water supply, Fisheries, Health and Village SACCO among other projects in Buseesa-Kasalaba and Kajuma in Matale Sub County in Kibaale district.

Dr. Richard Lubega says the government has not done enough in their community organization by providing the enterprises of people’s interests and lack of breeds of fish and livestock species.
But the Deputy CAO Kibaale, Betty Nankindu says farmers should show their enterprise selection demand through the agriculture extension workers because the district is willing to help such committed farmers.
In the same vein, the district production department led the CAO visited the over 3900 fish stocked pond in Kajuma where Dr. Richard called on the district fisheries department provide enough breeds to enable other fish farmers easy access.

On her part Enid Kaahwa the district fisheries officer told us that the enterprise is faced with inability of farmers to start adding that the district plans to have over 35 interested farmers benefit from the government breed distribution.
