BCDO has for long been practicing cattle fattening method of animal rearing and now we are in our crucial stage of ensuring that the community adopt the system. Cattle fattening is one of the most profitable project system which limits animals from moving long distances hence limited loss of calories as a result fat deposits are not wasted. this system also reduces on the quantity of feeds consumed by the cow as less energy is used during walking with in the fence therefore growth rate is high resulting in high financial gains. At the farm we do offer training on how to feed, treat and marketing of these Friesian cattle.
