A partnership approach in pursuance of results is always employed by BCDO.
The organization governance structure is composed of the board of directors as the highest decision making body that meets every quarter to review work plan, programs and financial reports.
Job Summary: The Medical Clinical Officer will design and implement a strategy to implement SMC procedures to scale up HIV AIDS prevention through safe male circumcision in line with SMC program objectives.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicants should hold Diplomas in Clinical Medicine and Community Heath
- A minimum of two years’ experience preferably in a circumcision surgical setting
- Formal training in SMC service delivery from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
- Training and experience in the provision of Safe male Circumcision surgery and comprehensive HIV/AIDS services will be an added advantage
- The applicants must be registered with the Allied Health professionals’ Council

Job Summary: Midwives deliver babies and provide antenatal and postnatal advice, care and support to women, their babies, their partners and families. Typical duties and responsibilities include:
- Examining and monitoring pregnant women
- Assessing care requirements and writing care plans
- Undertaking antenatal care in hospitals, homes and GP practices
- carrying out screening tests
- Providing information, emotional support and reassurance to women and their partners
- Making patient samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures
- caring for and assisting women in labour
- Monitoring and administering medication, injections and intravenous infusions during labour
- Monitoring the foetus during labour
- Advising about and supporting parents in the daily care of their newborn babies
- Helping parents to cope with miscarriage, termination, stillbirth and neonatal death
- writing records
- Tutoring student midwives
- Identifying high-risk pregnancies
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Must have enrolled midwifery certificate or equivalent.
- Must be registered with the Nurses and Midwives council.
- Relevant work experience of two years is essential.
- Be able to work in a stressful setting and adapt quickly to changing environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
