Over 400 community members from different areas of Kitengeeto parish managed to benefit from the free health services provided by Buseesa Community Development Organization (BCDO).

This happened on 01st –oct-2023 in Kitengeeto lc1, Kitengeeto parish, Matale sub county in Kibaale district during an outreach for community health and project promotion campaign initiated by the executive director for BCDO majorly to enhance community health in Kibaale district.

The health services provided include: HIV testing, cervical cancer, diabetes, and blood pressure testing to mention but a few.

Dr Lubega Richard the Executive Director BCDO confirmed that the program will continue to spread to different parts of the district emphasizing that this will help to enhance community health

He continued to give a credit to different NGOs such as KISSON, Baylor Uganda, and many others that have managed to work hand in hand with BCDO in order to ensure that the services are frequently provided to the community members.

Dr also continued and asked for other more support from other willing organizations to facilitate the provision of health services to the community members.

The community members led by the chairperson lc1 Mr. Ziita Joseph expressed their joy towards the services of BCDO by applauding Dr Richard for extending the health services to the local communities explaining that before, they have been struggling to have access to the health services by travelling long distances mostly to Matale and kibaale health Centre
