Over 200 community members from Igoza parish managed to benefit from different health services freely provided by Buseesa community Development Organization (BCDO) in Muliika parish.

This happened on 08th -10-2023 in Muliika lci, Igoza parish, Matale Sub County in Kibaale district during the community health and project promotion campaign initiated by BCDO.

The health services that were provided to the community members include: cervical cancer scanning, HIV, child immunization, family planning services and guidance and counseling.

Dr Lubega Richard the executive director BCDO explained that the purpose for the provision and extension of such services to the community members is to improve their community health and ensure that people access efficient treatment and other health services in time without inconveniences confirming that it will improve the health standards amongst the community members.

He continued to confirm that the process will continue to other parts of the district as it has been to the areas of Buteleevu, Kiteengeto and now Mulika which they have already covered.

The community members of Muliika parish expressed their joy to BCDO for the extension of the health services to the nearer to them something they considered a privilege to the community and the entire sub county.
