Through Buseesa Medical Health Centre III a registered Health Centre with Uganda Medical Dental Practitioners Association, the community has been able to receive services like – Antenatal, Family Planning, Maternity, Curative, Laboratory, Dental Health and Community Health Education.
Our main goal is to contribute to reduction of morbidity and mortality rates in Kibaale District through strengthening health management systems, prevention and care services.
we also aim at improving community quality of life by reaching out to mothers with short and long term family planning methods in Kibaale District.
We are committed to conducting intensive community mobilization and awareness programmes for members to effectively utilize the available clinical services.
To create awareness, we conduct health radio programmes on local radio stations to increase uptake of HIV prevention and other related services.
To ensure that we reach out to as many people as possible in the communities, BCDO as brought on board Village Health Team (VHTs) and Para-Social Workers in identifying pregnant women so that they can for for antenatal services and deliver from health centers for their safety and that of their babies.
